Greig PowersMultimedia Producer
Greig Powers has a true talent for multimedia communication and puts it to use for CNTV clients. As a television professional, Greig has worked with the CNTV team at conventions around the world since 2006. His writing, editing and project management skills drove quality content that reached tens of thousands of people. At television outlets in Orlando, Fla., Greig produced live news programs for WFTV-TV (ABC) and WESH-TV (NBC). At WFTV-TV, Greig’s leadership allowed the station’s morning program to continue its ratings dominance in the market. He also produced content during the award-winning coverage of the 2004 Florida hurricanes and contributed articles, images and video to the station’s influential news web site. Orlando’s PBS affiliate, WMFE-TV, called upon Greig to generate high-quality, non-commercial programs for its choosy audience. He created a variety of well-received studio and documentary style programs. Greig also regularly contributed to WMFE-FM, Orlando’s National Public Radio (NPR) station, including reports during the historic 2008 general election and Tropical Storm Fay. Greig holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Radio-Television from the University of Central Florida, where he occasionally acts as an adjunct instructor of public speaking. Greig grew up in the United Kingdom but now lives in Winter Springs, Fla. |
